Well today Friday was my last day at the centre before heading back to work for four weeks to Khazakstan. I promised the girls I would go up and re-open the ride up to the Shepherd's Bridge Pool on the River Calder behind Creag Dhubh and I actually got it done. This is a lovely ride which links up Glen Banchor and Creag Dhubh up behind the centre giving us some more options for ides of 2 hours or more. The path had not really been used by us since 1996 and it was great to get all the branches cleared and still find the old path, I just hope the girls and clients enjoy using it as much as I used to and hopefully still will.
Alice and I went to look at another new pony last week at Harthill between Glasgow and Edinburgh, Megan a grey Welsh Section B mare should arrive at the centre this weekend and although she has done a lot of ground work and has been backed she will still need a lot of education before she joins the working team. Welcome Megan !!
